Marina Richmond is a watercolor and ink artist based in Pinellas County, Florida. Her work explores landscapes, native flora, wildlife, and figurative elements through luminous color and atmospheric detail, blending natural realism with subtle surrealism.

Inspired by direct observation, photography, and emotional memory, her paintings focus on mood, tenderness, and a sense of remembered place. Each piece invites viewers to slow down and engage with the quiet emotional presence of natural forms.

Richmond grew up between Taiwan and the United States, shaped by a bilingual and multicultural childhood that continues to inform her sensitivity to atmosphere, restraint, and emotional nuance. She holds a BFA in Communications Design with a focus in Illustration from Pratt Institute. This background subtly influences her approach to color and composition, contributing to the contemplative tone across her work.
