Before receiving a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY, Marina Richmond grew up in a small town in Taiwan. This multi-cultural upbringing has lead to a love of different cultures, peoples, vistas, and environments.
Her work is heavily inspired by vibrant textures and contrast, Impressionist color theory, and the joys of building a camaraderie with fellow artists, however new or experienced.
She now paints and lives in the Tampa Bay area of Florida with her fiancé and beloved pets—bunny Boba and puppy Mochi.
